Duration of test: 30 minutes.
An Echocardiogram uses high frequency sound waves (ultrasound) to create images of your heart while it is working. From this test your doctor can get much information about your heart; information such as the size, movement and shape of your heart, how your heart pumps blood, about the valves and arteries that supply blood to your heart.
